C-030: Ancestor Tahti
Tahti is a strange case. One of the Six was tired of being stuck as the last of their kind. She wanted to bring back their proud race. History repeated itself as she tried to use the power of the thing they were protecting to create new il'hune. She succeeded, sort of, but died in the process. Tahti came to be, but was blamed for her actions, and outcasted. Kaaru took him in, and treats him like his own son. Kaaru is the reason Tahti is as gentle as he is, because Kaaru treats him well and protects him from the cold shoulder and harsh words of the others
Personality
Rather shy, very sweet and gentle. He is incredibly curious, and loves hearing stories from the li'uhn about their travels. He will often offer to share food with them if they sit and tell him stories. He'll happily listen for hours. He wears his ceremonial robes around them, unlike Kaaru. Kaaru thinks it's dumb, but it makes sense that Tahti doesn't want to draw Vahanu's ire. Tahti longs to be free, tired of being bound in the Oasis for something he had no part of.
Relationship to the Others
Kaaru: He sees Kaaru as a farher figure, greatly looks up to him. He loves Kaaru, and can often be seen near the older il'hune.
Rama: He generally avoids Rama. Rama seems to blame him directly for the death of the one who brought him into being. Rama refuses to speak to the young il'hune, but tends to give him long, harsh glares and walk away.
Vahanu: Nervous around her, because she's a hard leader, and harder on him than the rest. He does his best to do what he's supposed to. Deep down, she's thankful that his presence has mellowed out Kaaru a bit.
Haolani: Haolani simply ignores his presence. Doesn't seem to hate him, but doesn't care either.
Dayalu: Dayalu started out disliking him, but she's grown to enjoy the innocence Tahti has to offer. She'll even join him and Kaaru for a meal, or sit and talk to Tahti.
